In June 2023, the Supreme Court ended affirmative action in higher education, putting fashion’s diversity pipeline in danger. We have heard the calls and commitments for more racial diversity in fashion, and there has been some progress. But there’s still more work to do.
That’s why we created our Equity and Justice in Fashion online course—with real life lessons in design, sustainability and technology. The course includes four sessions on racial and cultural missteps specific to fashion, unconscious bias and strategies for long-term change.
